Should I bust my Shuffle for a Nano?

I bought a 512mb Shuffle at BestBuy last year back when they were $100. For an extra $10 I added 2yr warranty to it.

Now that the 512 is $60 and a 1gb Nano is $150 I was wondering if my Shuffle could "die" and when I bring it in for warranty replacement pay the extra $50 for the Nano?

But the nano doesnt cost just 50$. Its at its price for a reason, if you dont pay the price they are asking, you are SCAMMING THEM OUT OF $100

But I paid a warranty to have my Shuffle replaced. So I'm entitled to $100 credit.

most companies won't go for it, even if your logic shows they will gain. Its unfortunate though.

    especially best buy, they suck.

You could buy the same thing I have, new, for $60. Not really a deal.

Fuck the Shuffle. They are pieces of shit. I love iPods, but I am on my 4th Shuffle in a year. The first three were all returned within the first 45 days to Target where I originally bought mine. They just keep dieing. And now, again, it just died. Won't connect to my computer or play or anything. Total POS. I don't want a nano, I want a shuffle because I want something where I can just feel the buttons and not look at it or have to navigate or accidently slide the volume when I'm trying to just scan songs. Also, having a skin on the nano that won't get sweat in the scroll wheel makes it a bitch to actually scroll. With a shuffle, everything is push button, so no issues when you have the right skin.

Mine doesn't get abused persay. I don't toss it on a table or let it sit in extreme temperatures, so it's been very reliable. Same goes for my g/f's which was a refurb off Apple's site.

I'm at the point where 512mb is starting to not be enough for me. Mostly because my music is ripped at a higher bitrate. I just don't have the money to get a 60gb (I currently have about 40gb of music).

Anyway, BestBuy doesn't do in-store warranty exchanges anymore. I have to call a number and they send me a box to get it replaced.
