I hover from 150-155 and I'm 5'7. I normally hit the gym around 3-4 times a week and I eat somewhat healthy(maybe some fast food once a week). Right now, I have somewhat of a blubber belly and a little facial fat, but I am making progress in my lifting. My question to you guys is whether I should just start eating a lot and continue trying to lift heavier weights or cut down so I will look better physically?

    Thanks

you should decide that on your own. find out what your goal is, if it's to get stronger and bigger then continue to bulk, but if it's to shed some pound and be leaner, then cut. You decide

so at this point the extra poundage on the belly and face shouldn't really matter, because i will remove it later by cutting right?

No one at 150lbs should be cutting unless they are 5' 2" or shorter.

Eat, lift, eat, lift, eat, lift. If you are skinny-fat, then you are not lifting hard enough and need to get your diet in-check. "Eat" does not necessarily mean eating shit. Eat a lot of food with a clean diet and bust your ass in the gym... You WILL see results.

i am seeing results at my chest/biceps area but i seem to have a layer of fat(especially when im sitting - that shit just pops out). it also seems like the fat likes to migrate to my face(thus giving me a slightly chubby look at the face).

i guess i can see what people think when i post pics tomorrow.

At your height and weight, you have basically no real muscle mass. I'd be willing to bet getting on a proper diet, and lifting some heavy as fuck weight you'd be able to loose bf while at the same time getting muscle.

For the record, you can't "cut" if theres nothing there.

im about the same size as you and i cant see myself cutting till i hit like 180-190 and even then it would only be if i somehow got over 15% bf
