should I be sore every day i workout?

I usually to max reps until failure (at around 8 reps) then slowly cycle down in weight.

But I'm not sore everyday, some parts are sore some days (the parts i rarely workout but am just starting too) but things like broceps:coolugh:, pecks, triceps ect don't get very sore at all. :ugh:

Overtraining, if you work out everyday consider having a rest day

I'm sore 24/7 right now. But thats because I'm ass out balls to the wall while eating less food than an infant right now :(

Normally, with enough food, soreness is rare.

I think everyone interrupted the same way, myself included. Which is how can he not be sore.

It just means that you're using that muscle more your body is use to. I get sore if I don't work that muscle groups for a few weeks, but if I work it every week and don't change the reps or weight I don't hurt which I think is an indication I'm not working hard enough. If your muscles are sore the next day they're growing.

You've probably reached that point where you need to change your routine a little. Either super set those muscle groups that don't seem to be getting sore and kill them. Try to focus on a single group and kill it, if you're looking for some reaction. Then let it heal and kill it again.

What are you doing to hit those key 'non' sore areas?

Well I ended up getting sore later in the day - if that makes any sense.

However I noticed I don't have much muscle endurance at all, or consistency, for instance:

I walk into the gym and jump on the bench press.
I'll be able to do 3-4reps of around 160 - then around 30seconds later, i can only do 3-5reps more of around 140... (20lb difference)

    Any ideas or opinions?

    Thanks bros.

Keep a close eye on your form, or perhaps up your caloric intake

going until failure on every set is probably why you're so sore. im not gonna post any scientific studies or anything but im pretty sure thats not the best way to grow.

Whenever I do benchpress I'm usually pretty sore and tight for the next 1-3 days. And by sore and tight I mean it hurts to move my arms at shoulder length from straight out in front of me to my sides (keeping my arms straight)

"Soreness" isn't horrible, just make sure it isn't pain, which is very different even though I may sound retarded. Still, you can minimize soreness by eating an appropriate diet and massaging your muscles after your workouts. Rub perpendicular to the way the muscle fibers run and try to really dig in as much as possible as this also promotes muscle growth. Also, I've read several articles that support the idea that you do not need to go to failure to get the best results. This seems counter-intuitive to me, but I'm not actually doing any tests myself so I figure I should leave it up to the experts.
