    What do you guys think?

Get a shotgun, specifically the 870 express, or an SAR-1?

Opinions needed! I think the shotgun is more practical to shoot I supposed, and can be used for home defense too.

If you have the opportunity to buy an SAR1 and the price is fair, you should go for it. They're no longer imported and prices are going up.

SAR would be alot more fun at the range, cheaper too. A shotgun could be used for home defense, but they arent that fun at the range unless you are skeet/trap shooting. I'd choose something other than an 870 for that though :hs:

if you can get a SAR-1 for the price of an 870 express, do it.. make sure its a SAR and not a WASR-10..

it should have a dimple above the mag-well.
