First thing is magpul's 2008 catalog
    http://www.magpul.com/pdfs/2008catalog.pdf

Anyone see anything they're drooling over?

The magpul backup irons are interesting. The description leaves me wondering if they're plastic, iron, or both. I think I'll take my chances and go on and get the troy rear instead of waiting.

The ACS stock looks pretty good for the price. A couple pink pmags will be a must have to make people stare at the range. I imagine everyone will be buying pmag floor plates with drainholes just in case

Gun Blast, my favorite people who never hate a single product they touch, also have some pictures up http://www.gunblast.com/SHOT_2008_0.htm :big grin:

Nothing much on that page excites me although Gimik will surely be buying the scandium 44 special

They're both. The body of the part is injection-molded plastic. The sight post is iron as well as retention parts.

they've been talking about those 10/22 stocks for a while on rimfirecentral... they look good, but certainly aren't cheap. $250 for just the area around the action. Butt stock is extra, pistol grip is extra, barrell shroud is extra, etc

Supposed to take AR parts though.

An FN semi auto rifle based off on the BAR looks ok. I don't like the stock though.

HK is telling people they're bringing tooling for the 416 to the US to build it here and will have civilian versions in 2009. The 417 probably will not make it though.

I am most interested in the ITI lights, ACR and PMAG ranger plates, and was hoping to see a 14rd M&P45 mag.

There are some cool smaller items but the Sig 250 is the only major innovation I've seen so far.

*cue "...because we hate you" pic*

From what I've seen on the web so far, I agree. ruger's .380...whoo a keltec rip off.

this .22 might be cool if its cheap
    [IMG]

Other than that I'm sticking with the idea of some pink magpul mags so I can be the weird guy at the range and thats about it.

Oh and gun blast day 1 http://www.gunblast.com/SHOT_2008_1.htm
