    FUCKING OW.

I don't know how in the hell anyone would shoot that shit in a war time situation without a recoil pad or something on it. 8mm + Bare butt plate = sore shoulder.

On the plus side it was alot more acurate than expecting. Iron Sights at 100 yards, 10 in. grouping.

Iron Sights FTL. No recoil pad FTL.

 Most milsurp rifles are like that, Mosin has a nice little kick too, You should be able to do a bit better then that 10" too. Germans had pretty heavy uniforms too, plus when people are shooting back at you I doubt your thinking much about the recoil

Considering I could barely see the target at that range, yes :p I'm positive with a scope results would be quite different, but for iron sights...

And yes, I'm a pussy, I was just wearing a t-shirt. after about 10 rounds I put one of the sandbags between myself and the rifle.

shit, Henry Bowman shot a .600 H&H with just a tshirt on.. and a few hundred rounds out of a 375 ackley with just a tshirt.. when the callus on his soldier got too big, he had the doctor trim it down.

Plan to put a Magpul with buttplate on my m4gery in the near future that I think will be much better for a buttstroke then my crappy little aluminum and plastic m4gery stock.

Fuck that. My 12 gauge shooting slugs kicks less than the 8mm... Of course I've never shot a 12 ga. from a bench either, always standing... that makes a huge difference.
