I am not a professional, nor do I want to be one. It was my sisters friends wedding and she offered me and my sister some money, so we did it :dunno:

This was my first time shooting any event, Im more of a nature kind of guy. Overall me and my sister took ~1000 pics, and about ~200 came out pretty decent :naughty:

    looks alright.

1 weird shadow behind the flowers. and try a lower angle
2 nice idea, but the pool of light should be on the shoes, as it is, the light is centered on nothing.
4 bride is oof, but still, this is your best shot.
5 try a lower more involving angle. and crop closer to the bouquet. as shot, it looks ordinary.

    but overall...decent.

I think that with some retouching you can take some of these shots to a better place.

    1) I like this but not the shadow. maybe try a lower angle on this.
    2) I think this can become a great shot but as it is, I dont like it. The sheet is not just wrinkled but it still has the original wrinkles like it came right out of the package. Maybe fix that and then take the left shoe and darken it so the shoes are of an even tone. Personally, you are stuck with that style shoe also. I hate the straps in the back of them.
    3) nice shot. Nothing spectacular but still a nice shot.
    4) I love the emotion you captured. I always love when real emotion is captured. but their faces need some work removing blemishes and maybe toning down the highligh on the eyeglass arm? a bit of sharpening and I think you will find this hangin in their lving room
    5) I like ths shot but I am uncertain the symbolism of the broom but that is not my business. I do love their floor though
    6) beautiful shot, a few stray hairs and I wish her arm was not cut off but overall I like it
    7) this is a missed opporunity. I think the names should be nice and crisp and not oof and I especially think that the rings should show exceptional detail. outside of ther memories and photos, this is what symbolizes their unity. It should be spectacular.
    8) flower is in focus, faces are not.
    9) light on the mantle is detracting from the image. make a nice tight crop of this and I think it will be better. I am not a huge fan of the tone of the image but I am liking the grain that is in the photo.
    10) damn that microphone in the way. ANd I am bothered by the eweird shadow on his forhead. The good news is the forehead can be easily remidied but the microphone, not so much

    Thanks for the critique :eek3:

I could do a lot of PS to them, but I don't have the time so I slapped on some vignetting. :noes:

    250 Each :eek3:

Got there at 3 and left at ~7:30. Took about an hour or so to filter through all the pics and edit the ones that looked good.
