    preview of what i'll be creating is shown below

    my question is simply what is the most efficient way to do this? right now i'm simply importing each individual picture and then i'll re-size everything from there.

    one problem i ran into is the photoshop max file size issue which is 2 gigs. need some help on how to avoid it. roughly 4 ft. x 3 ft. @ 300DPI CMYK color mode. each individual picture is something like 5-7mb. in total, that = a HUGE file size. something tells me i'm making this harder for myself

    how the hell do you guys do this? hah i don't even know if my 3ghz quad core can process this shit.

    thanks =)

    you should be nowhere near 5-7mb per picture if you're finished file is a high quality jpg. What are the file dimensions and type?

    if it were me (being a novice at this) I would edit each shot with a copy/paste in LR to ensure same exposure/editing, export to a file with a moderate-small sized .jpg (considering each headshot on a 4'x3' will only be ~2"x3"...if that :dunno: ) and then import each element into the OSU template....I'm not seeing where this will run anywhere over 10mb :dunno:

    Couple things,

    You could probably do it at 240ppi, but more importantly, you should lay this all out in Illustrator or InDesign.

    Export your JPGs with a batch and get them all the same size and everything and then "place" them in Illustrator.
