My old pair of sprawls are on their last legs, looking for something to grapple in that maybe I can wear around to the pool during the summer. Any suggestions?

Some of this stuff is getting ridiculous

What the fuck is that. Did the designer fuck a chick on the rag then go design shorts in the aftermath?

The handprint on the shorts on the left and in the middle would have to come from yourself which means things aren't going your way.

Eh, not really. I wear just regular old basketball shorts and they are annoying as shit to grapple in. They always move around way too much and I have to adjust or risk my dong hanging out. I need to get some board shorts, but I don't know where to grab a pair and I'm too lazy about it.

A medium pair of And1 shorts and a large pair of Nikes. They fit the same. Sometimes I say fuck it and wear my gi pants instead.

basketball shorts are one of the few kinds of shorts that dont work for grappling. almost everything else will work just fine. i think its stupid to pay fifty bucks for a pair of "grappling" shorts. theyre just shorts with a bunch of logos on them.

I pay $50 (or around there) for the shorts i regularly wear anyways. We cant all rock the cargo shorts ya know :mamoru:

The sprawls are nice because they have no pockets and tie on the inside.

    I have an idea....
get some bjj shorts that will be able to withstand a beating and find something you can wear by the pool.

Double stitched with the coolest fucking design on them.

    Sprawl's lower end shorts.

Elastic band, drawsting, velcro enclosure, split seams, fast drying material, and mouthguard pocket.

Only difference from Sprawls is lack of flex panels and material is not as nice.

    20 bucks I think

Dont listen to chechen, dude doesnt know wtf he's talking about.

The new sprawl shorts have a rubber between the legs that help you control anything you have between your legs, excellent for skin

    yes and no

less constricting, and nothing to hang up on or scratch someone with.

you can use old boardshorts and just cut slits up the sides.

I just use boardshorts made for surfing. Ten bucks.

As long as there is no elastic on the waist and there are no exposed zippers, they're great for grappling.
