520 line resolution, remote with digi zoom/pan/tilt, multiple mounts including headband mount and swivel hard mount, good quality microphone. it's not as tight a package at the archos helmet cam but the quality is better IMO. Runs off 8 AA batteries.

I can try and up a test vid to youtube later if you wanna see.

I can't say for sure that it is "Sony" but it is a 520 and I think has a sony CCD. 3x digi zoom. Vid is uploading now.

    34mb @ 2:32 in widescreen format.

I upgraded the HD from 40gig to 100gig in the Archos.

Vid is crapping out on the upload. Connection at work sucks. I'll up it tonight and PM you the link.

Is that the edited version, Ray, or the pieced together what's left?

    Looks like fun, either way.

Well it's 2 stages of a 8 stage match. The other 6 stages either did not record, recorded incorrectly, or cut out before I completed the stage.

I like to show stages in their entirety, and not so much a "greatest hits" compelation of little parts that I did especially well. Though if I did that I'm sure I could put together something very watchable.

i am not so much into camcorders. can anyone reccomend a decent "pen" cam that can be carried without much muss or fuss. decent vid quality and sound. high end of the budget around 300. maybe about 6 hours of film time?
