Looking at Boxsters for the wifey. I only had one other Porsche a 1986 928 that thing was awsome the motor sounded so . But I blow the tranny and fixed it for a quick sell. What do you guys know about boxsters. I going to buy used because 50K for a new one is not a good deal :sadwavey: . What are the best years?

    Now why the Boxster
    Conv.
    Flat 6
    great engine noise
201-218-228 Hp perfect for a first sports car for the wifey
    quility
and it is a real Porsche

Price range between 18-25K I found a bounch with under 30K miles near me.

    Thanks for all the help

not sure what year you are looking but the 99s-2001s fall into your price range, they have a lot more miles than 30k tho from what ive seen.

You should check out a 968..test drive a nice example and you'll be in love 240hp, one of the best handling cars in the world, and of course the rareness factor and straight up good looks. Coupe or convertible you cant go wrong! Good luck on whatever you decide

thanks but I don't want to spend that much at this time. Also it's for the wifey so 200hp + is enough for her.

    Thanks

well if you go for a Boxster (even though a 968 is better :) ) dont go for a 97 or a 98.. I read those had some problems. So go for a 99 and up! Good luck!

Ya looks like 2000 and up are the better ones with the 2.7L motors RMS? is that what the trouble has been? I found a 2.5 97 with only 22K and come with a P COP for a year and 1/2 or 100K. should I consider it?
