A&P Shooting into the sun

  1. Well, i dont have the pic in question, but basically I shot some people and statues and other shit with the sun behind it, on my camera LCD it looked like the object in the forground (statute people whatever) were pitch black, but when i put it on mycomputer i found it wasnt. anyway to easily do this in post production_

    Find the levels dialog box in whatever software you're using and use the sliders to make whatever you want black be black.

    You're adjusting exposure compensation, not aperture.

    Click the black eyedropper, and click a person.

    You got a severely blown out sky too, so its not ever going to really look right, even with PS.

    In the future, if you are going for the people to be dark and for the sun to show properly, then you need to expose for the sky and with that much sun the people will automatically fall into place as dark.
