So i'm looking for a new pair set of "utility" shoes. Somethin I can wear day in and day out and not look like a tool yet be able to wear and be acceptable at parties.

Are New Balance shoes still in? what are some alternatives? i'm looking for a pair of sneakers, not sperries.

let me know what you got in mind.

Depends on how good you want to look at the party and what kind of party it is.

It's certainly acceptable to wear new balances @ a college frat party.

I'd say go with a pair of black canvas shoes.

What kind of "utility" are you talking about.

19/20 times that you see me with shoes on I'm wearing my globes.

But I surf and wakeboard. If you do neither you'll just look like a "poser." Not that it should matter. They are extremely comfortable. Aside from dress and running shoes, I only buy globes.
