no. slip-ons are too casual, I think those would look plain sloppy with a suit.

those look better than the last ones, but I think you'll find that most people here aren't a fan of square toe shoes. If you like them, then go for it. I think square toe just looks plain bad and tasteless.

They might look bad, but they're hardly tasteless.

I think shoes are a very important part of a suit. The difference between small details can be a dealbreaker for me, and a square toe is one of the things I think can ruin a suit. I just think square-toe looks tacky, and I'd go far enough to call it tasteless, as it makes a suit look less like a suit.

I'm in the dark about dress shoes. Why the hate for square toes?

Hmm, I'm not a good bargain hunter. If you can find one that looks similar to the shoe I posted, you'd be fine. Just stay away from slip-ons and squared-toes.

A lot of things look bad in general. A lot of bad things can look even worse, even tasteless, if they're worn a certain way.

Worn with a suit, it just looks bad. Worn with true religion jeans and an ed hardy shirt makes it tasteless. I just think "tasteless" is a strong word.

Maybe I'm just being too technical...but that's just my opinion.
