Ever have days like that? Couldn't seem to put anything together, no energy, struggling through each set. Feels like a wasted afternoon but I guess a hard attempt at something is better than no attempt at all.

What do you guys do to combat days like that?

ill take it easy on the days when im just not feeling a 100%: maybe go lighter, do a little more cablework etc

just muster up enough energy to get through the workout. I always feel that its better that I'm there than at home on the couch.

I had that on my last shoulder workout. I did some drop sets to move teh workout a long and to get some benefit of the workout, and guess what...it turned out to be a great workout.

The last time I had a workout like that I struggled through the whole thing, then started over and did it twice because I was pissed that I was being such a pussy.

It happens, then you get days where you feel like an unstoppable machine.

In really backed off my carbs for the day so I think that was partly to blame and the fact that my stomach started growling after my 2nd set of chest.

I'm tired of being hungry and I eat 4-6 times a day.

A lot of times I'll pound some fast carbs (white bread, gatorade, etc) or go take an hour nap in my car and I'll be back at 100% or at least closer to it than before.
