Clean car. Never seen (aftermarket) rims on a Jag. You pulled it off though.

Sexy XJR. I like that rims too. I once got to drive someone's XKR silverstone about 3 months after he bought it.

When I got it it had 58k miles and I paid 20k cash for it. It has 370hp and 383 ft/lbs stock. With a supercharger pulley, ecu upgrade and bolt ons they are putting down like 480hp and 515 ft/lbs. ...And no, it is a very reliable car and the maintenance is EASY (water pump and thermostat in 35 minutes the first time)...

I just picked up a 98 XJR, loving it. What other maint. items have you done. Have you done the timing chain tensioners by any chance? How is the nikasil holding up, any issues starting it up?

The tensioners were done before I bought the car. I have had no nikasil issues and from what I understand is a moot point in most US cars as long as you use high grade gas. Occasionally (at random) when I turn the key to the accessory position to let the system do its check and then start it...nothing happens...the starter motor doesn't kick etc...just nothing. I just remove the key and try again and it works...this happens maybe 1/50 times and I think it is the ECU throwing up some sort of english gremlin error code. Aside from a minor annoyance on occasion it is nothing to be concerned about.

I was very concerned with the weight of the wheels which is why I chose the CCW wheels. I LOST 15 lbs PER CORNER and gained an inch in diameter over stock. Perhaps you haven't heard of CCW before but these rims are not cheap (although not as rediculous as HRE) and are on par quality wise with the other 2 you mentioned.

19" iFORGED weigh in at 23lbs or so each (which is on par with stock rims) and are fully forged for those not so nice streets

I've heard of CCW, but you are incorrect in their ability to compete with iFORGED let alone HRE
