Anybody use them as a sub for pasta? Read a Men's Health that suggested them as a substitute, just wondering if anybody had tried them before and if so, what kind of uses?

i think you mean Shiratake noodles.

    Shtiake is a mushroom.

They're made of tofu, so they're a great low cal noodle. if you're cutting, they're great...

3g of carb (2 of which are fiber) and 20 cals , per serving (4oz)

I'm sure that you're right. How do they taste? Can you sub them for a lower carb alternative to whole wheat pasta?

like 4cd says, they taste fine (especially if you've got them in sauce), as long as you can get over the texture.

sure, you can sub it - but you're gonna have a little less fiber then whole wheat/brown rice pasta
