i have ~20 AK mags and 30 AR mags and they're on the top shelf of my safe but i'd rather not have them there. do most of you just keep them in a closet or something?

I have plastic tubs I get at the dollar store/walmart/wherever cheap.

Mark whats inside on front with masking tape, dump in some silica gel packs, and stuff them on a rack. Actually, most of my gun shit is like that. I have 4 totes right now sitting in my basement containing broken down CZ's that I need to do something with.:rofl:

i've got all my guns packed into their cases
1 backpack full of fully loaded magazines for all the guns
and i leave out my saiga12 with extra 10 round mag
or i leave out my AK pistol with the 30 rd mag.

(all tucked behind a big shelf thing in my closet, (no safe yet) but also very quick to grab everything if needed)

Ammo cans. But I do want a couple Pelican cases since they look nice and neat.

Nah, I'm good. I'm trying to stop buying 5.56 and empty strippers would be too much temptation. Thanks though.

I like to keep them on strippers since I don't have 300 mags (at about 80) to keep all my ammo in. It's alot less painful to load a stripper than round by round (don't have a LULA because I'm a cheap SOB)

I'll take some strippers. I'd rather have my ammo on strippers than loose. Got any spoons?
