When I ate them, I put them in a crock pot with various dried fruits and cinnamon overnight (making sure to put extra water in it). By the time morning came around, I had breakfast.

If you do this though, if you don't decide to clean the crock pot right away, make sure to throw it in the sink to soak. Otherwise it's a bitch to clean.

No, first you cook them for 30 minutes so they are nice and cooked,
then you mix it in a shake to enjoy.

Just the buy the quaker or generic brand of quick oats. Boil water (takes 3 minutes), pour on oats, and good to go.

You don't need to use a pot...just microwave them and they'll cook much quicker.

I eat them because they're tasty. They have a nuttier taste than reg oatmeal and I like the texture a little more. Of course, I don't eat it all the time because it is more of a hassle than a bowl of cereal or a bowl of reg oatmeal in the microwave.
