I'm moving to AK, and need to get my collection there. I can ship them to myself, via UPS main hub, with no issues, right?

Why don't you just take them in the car?

My collection won't fit in a lifted Wrangler, nor am I insane enough to drive it across the country, plus cross the Al-Can on 33" BFGs, a 3 spd auto, and 3.07 gears. In addition, Canadia would probably incarcerate me for multiple lifetimes for the evil black guns I'd be transporting.

100% legal as long as you follow shipping guidelines.

(B9) May a nonlicensee ship firearms interstate for his or her use in hunting or other lawful activity? [Back]
Yes. A person may ship a firearm to himself or herself in care of another person in the State where he or she intends to hunt or engage in any other lawful activity. The package should be addressed to the owner. Persons other than the owner should not open the package and take possession of the firearm.

Nope, it is a tourist trap. I was there in August and next time I get up that way, I'll see Alaska some other way besides boozing it up on a cruise ship.

I want to move to Alaska. Be away from the main vein of bullshit but still have the same gun rights in a place that doesnt even feel like the same country. Plus it gorgeous up there.

So, tonight I said fuck it, I'm probably going to tow my Jeep, bike, and pack all my shit across the Al-Can. Any of you Canuckian fuckers have an idea what I'm going to have to say to RCMP crossing the border with some EBRs and some short barreled pistols?

No, but I have some applications in the pipeline for AK Natural Resource Manager positions. I also reapplied for the one you're thinking of.

This has been my border crossing experience when venturing to thr great white north:

Canadian border patrol: "where are you going?"
    Me: "Toronto"
Canadian border patrol: "purpose of your visit?"
    Me: "visit my parents"
Canadian border patrol: "how long will you be staying?"
    Me: "aboot a week"
Canadian border patrol: "do you have any firearms?"
    Me: "no"
Canadian border patrol: "enjoy your stay"

Next time, I may not even stop and try to get it all out of the way in a rolling stop
