you can ship the ammo in a separate container straight to the buyer.

ship the gun at UPS or Fedex overnight yourself or USPS through an FFL.

when i traded off the kimber, i brought it to my FFL and they shipped it to the guy's ffl and only charged me for shipping.

stop by LA reloading & see if he'll ship it for you. :o

overnight the pistol and mags to his FFL using UPS or FEdex and mail the ammo seperately to his door via UPS or FEDEX with the box marked ORMD.

    this i know.

i told the buyer but he wants everything to go through his FFL.

now he said his FFL can't get the copy to the fax until tuesday so he's mailing one out instead. who the fuck heard of an FFL that doesn't have a fax.

i talked to LA reloading before i posted this thread. he wants $10 + cost of shipping. this still wouldn't let me ship the ammo at the same time. if handguns need to go overnight, i can't ship the ammo through them. i don't believe you can ship ammo by air, only ground.

FFL's can use USPS for shipping so it can be far cheaper. Legally you don't have to tell the carrier you're shipping the handgun if its going to a FFL holder. UPS and FedEx policy is that you do so if you ship it yourself you can use ground as long as you're comfortable with the gamble of insurance problems if its lost/damaged.
