Hard chroming looks good in my opinion...Polished chrome, no. Let me rephrase that HELL NO!!!

But that is just my opinion. I'm not a pimp I don't need the bling bling!

Looks like its supposed to be a 1911. You can get a stainless steel one from Springfeild for around $500.

A cop friend of mine chromed out his duty Sig and put pearl grips on it. Talk about ghetto. I mean damn. And I mean everything is chromed. The barrel, the guide rod the magwell, the mags, hell i think he even has chrome bullets.

You can get any gun chrome polished or nickel plated. Expect to pay $175+ on top of whatever the gun itself costs.

Alright, so let me get this straight. Your friend who is a cop, chromed out his duty pistol? Are you serious? It might be easier to see it if he did a few jumping jacks before shooting. Most people won't even carry a stainless because of the fact that it glows in the dark.

Yes. My friend who is the partner of my roommate carries a chromed out Sig \p229 It is very gheeto and I make fun of it whenever possible. IMO a Hard chromed glock is pretty good looking but a polished chrome SIG is a little over the edge. Oh well, whatever floats your boat. I'll stick with my black guns.

I know a number of police officers who carry stainless steel pistols, especially if they are undercover and keep the weapon close to their body. Sweat can rust a gun quickly.
