shin splints :(

    whenver i play volleyball... which is usually everyday... i get such bad shin splints it hurts to even walk after im done playing

    what causes this? :o

    Well shin splints are micro fractures in your tibia. If you playing volleyball on hardwood that may be the cause so try some different shoes with better padding.

    Make sure your stretching out your legs really good before you play, that helps.

    I think it was caused by strong calves and weak (insert muscle at the front), or over/under pronation. Stretch it before playing, during and after, ice it, roll something along it and if it bothers you alot some ibuprofen should take care of most of the pain.
