I edit wedding videos and from what I can see:

    1. You can shoot dancing
    2. You need to work on composition for the still life shit

So I guess this is what happens when people talk and talk and talk all the time, THEN post pics. I think you need to post more pics, let OTAP break your ass down and build you up right. Canon or not, you need to work on your composition. brow down bro, brow down.

    Nice dancing shots though. :)

    Thanks.

Do 3 huge weddings in a weekend and come tell me if you have the time, patience or even care about lining up the shots right :mamoru:

As you can notice i didn't post any artistic shots, my cousin works on those and I help him.

    Check it out.

well, post some artistic shots that you did... not your cousin. We've seen his work before and he's good. I want to see your stuff.

I'm not saying you're bad... I'm just saying 3 weddings a weekend or not, you give a lot of advice to a lot of people as if you're the authority. I just want to see your authoritarian pictures to back up the talk my fellow countryman!!!

I have posted some before, but not any from private events, because i don't do that. And I am able to give advice because i deal with it on daily basis.

If you don't want to post private events, thats fine. Post other artistic pictures. Hell man, I post everything from my kid to you name it just to get feedback. I don't think you're at a point where you can't take advice, are you? :dunno:

As I understand, what you were trying to say is if i do my own business, and the answer is no. Just an assistant.

I mean, he said the same stuff I said, that might indicate a common theme. Saying you didn't care because you were busy is not the case or else you wouldn't be posting these. OTAP is extremely critical but 9 times out of 10 you will leave bruised, but with much better pictures. You posted these for a reason, and the reason was to get advice

    No, believe me.

Just wanted to share what I do. In fact all these pics were taken within past 2 months...not even during the whole year...if I really wanted to get advice, i would of took my time instead of just picking random pics and posting. But advice is always welcomed.

Ok, well then you must take pictures for fun too... right? I do, and I'm sure most others do too. Thats why we're doing what we're doing. Post some artistic pictures *you* have done. I'm not judging the fact you're an assistant or not, that shit doesn't matter to me. What matters is that you preach and preach about 5D, FF, etc. and you dish out criticism for others and yet you don't post your own pictures (until now) to 'show' us what you do.

And like xconverge said, you wouldn't have posted the pictures if you weren't looking for feedback. I do it, everyone else does it. Funny or not, we need to know what we're doing wrong. Even if a noob gives me advice that makes sense and I didn't know before or didn't put into practice, I've picked something up.

EXAMPLE: Xenon supra mentioned something about bokeh and the relation of circular and octagonal shapes of the bokeh to the aperture. It *should* be obvious to everyone, but until he mentioned it I had never paid attention to it. Now, its another thing I know and is added to my knowledge library. :big grin:

Seriously... wtf is up w/ Michael Jackson stained glass? :hsugh:

not all, a lot. My family isn't Jewish, but then again none of us are religious of any kind. My cousin graduated from law school at pepperdine and just because she doesn't want to work, she's contemplating getting a PhD in Law.

Her husband meanwhile, jewish, just graduated from USC dental school. Great guy, all about DSLRs and I talk to him more than I talk to my own cousin. Love the guy to death.
