We had a big snow today, so this evening around 12:15am I was bored and went outside with my basic canon SD750.

Please keep in mind I'm not a photographer and I'm using a basic P&S camera.

    what do you think?

no. The only settings changed from default were flash-off and exposure to 2 secs.

If you're referring to the house, I wish it wasn't in the picture at all. I just wanted it to be of the tree, but there's no angle to get that without the house being there :hs:

Did you take one with the house in the pic? Im curious to see how it turned out w/it in the frame.

I wish there were interesting things to take pics of here during winter, we just get rain :(

Since when did OTAP become PC? I dont see spurious post negative comments all the time, but I do see fusion point out every negative comment everyone else makes... are you the Photo Feeling Police or something?

Oh.. and in regards to the pic... why such a long exposure? and what camera are you using? I was wondering if you had control over ISO at all, cause it looks excessively grainy. Depending on the camera you might not have that setting. Next time wait for a nicer day to get a blue sky to give the pic some color.

:eek3: thats a huge tree! It doesnt look like you would be able to get a good angle on the tree :( Just find one in the woods so you dont have the distractions of a house.
