I've had good luck cleaning my carpets by hand. My girlfriend's mom owns that exact product, they seem to like it.

:dunno: I have no problems knocking out most car interiors in 30-45 minutes in most cases and that includes shampooing the carpets and cleaning the upholstry, vinyl and leather. Of course, that is after vacuuming first. An extractor will save some time, but probably not as much as you think but it will be less tiring.

I have a extrator and no matter what its a bitch to use and really loud. It does help but that little green piece of crap stinks. I would say it sucks, but that is one thing it doesnt do

haha thats not how you use it. you spray it on, wait a minute, use scrubber to scub out the crap, then wipe it with a towel. and trust me i know it works, the carpet i cleaned must have had 5 layers of coke stains, dirt, mud, hair, it was discusting, and now its close to spotless.
