I've been cursed with thick hair, and it always gets poofy no matter how much product I put in. Is there some sort of shampoo or conditioner I can use to tame my hair and make it more manageable?

if you have monies, you could always invest in a straight perm. its about $300-$350 but it lasts for a year..if not more.

if you keep it short, see if your hairstylist can thin it out. my dad used to do that with his because it's super thick and would ultra poofy. if you keep it longer, i really like aussie's smoothing shampoos and conditioners. they make my hair a lot less poofy. i used to have the hairstylist thin my hair out too.
