When I work out i shake a bit...is that normal? The issue is that it's not even about working out but rather when I put stress on my muscles. I tried doing Yoga and when you muscles get tired (happens rather quickly with me) my whole body starts to shake....does anyone have this?

I am thinking that my body might be lower on something...some vitamins or something....I take multi-vitamin every day and drink protein after each workout. Maybe i should be taking something else?

    any ideas

I should probably mention my diet.

I don't eat breakfast (but drink probably about 2 cups of coffee in the morning at work).
For lunch I get a 12" subway sandwich or a sandwich from a different place
I usually work out before lunch...so i drink a can of protein that i get from trader joe (35 grams of it).
At around 7 or so I have dinner (nothing to healthy nor too bad).
And I drink a ton of water and green tea during the day.

    that's about it

Try eating more. Eat breakfast for sure and have healthy snacks inbetween meals. Just a piece of fruit or whatever is fine. Eating as sporatically as you are is going to send your metabolism on a rollercoaster. If you're worried about going over your calorie limit, just eat smaller meals, but eat more often throughout the day. That's probably why you're shaking so much... Plus you're working against yourself... Your body doesn't likely have any energy stores if you don't fuel it when before you workout in the afternoon, so you're just burning muscle away. Get plenty of carbs and protein at least 1 hour prior to working out.

shaking also happens when your body uses the supporting muscles that it normally doesnt strain to much. for instance the first few times i did bridges (for abs) my whole body was shaking. if this isnt what your talking about then :o

on a serious note, seems like you are eating way too little, and how long have you been working out?
