Shag rugs, ftw or ftl?

    I think it would be a little weird with that couch you just got. From what I gathered you have more of an organized/simplistic taste which doesn't agree with a shag carpet.

    While they look cool and comfortable they're a nuisance to clean and give off a dopey 70's cliche in my head.

    i think they are cool if your guests dont wear shoes on it. maybe im ocd but i cannot let anyone wear shoes in the house

    thicker weave on hardwood ftw

    they've grown on me, especially with my decor tastes, it throws in a new texture in the room and squares off that area well. "conventional" rugs aren't as dramatic
