Oh wow that brought me back.... I'm trying to get into Ico now but it just doesn't have the same sort of epic feel to it. I actually dislike having any partner beside you in a game, I think this is what ruins it for me. Oh and the horse doesn't count, it was pretty much the best supporting character of all time.

    holy fucking.
I would LOVE to see an HD version of Shadow of the Colossus. On the Blu-Ray disc imagine how much more content they could add to it along with better sound and image quality (duh). I would buy that all over again.

    Spoiler tag, nig.

I remember it was on these boards somebody spoiled this part for me, I was so pissed... :squint:

Not like it really matters, the story is only there to make it more beautiful, not so much for adding drama or twists. More games need to do away with random enemy spawns and whatnot, focusing on exploration and scenic envelopment. SotC did this so perfectly.

well i edited...not like it matters much...youd be hard pressed to find a copy of Ico or SotC these days anyways and if you have it you've most likely beaten it by now.

The game was so awesome it really was a piece of art. The only thing that I would have liked to see, and this really isnt a big deal at all, is the addition of more wild animals. Not even anything that would attack you. Just something to kind fill in the landscape a bit.

Yeah more wildlife would be awesome....

SotC can be found pretty much anywhere for $20, its fucking Ico that doesn't exist anymore.... Had to buy my copy off ebay for over $40. If i weren't such a collector at heart I'd be able to sell it back when I'm done, maybe even at a profit. Oh well feels good to hold on to gems like this.

Plus once Trico comes out, I'm gonna pose nude with the trilogy expertly positioned over my naughty bits.

I can't wait for that game. However I just know that they're going to kill that creature once I've gotten attached to it.

Yeah I'm gonna have to play this game alone, simply because I know it's coming. Don't need to go bawling over dead kitten-dragons in front of anybody, right?

Well now's the perfect time... Console gaming's in a bit if a drought if you ask me. In my opinion, play SotC first - it's impossible not to love it. Unfortunately the same can't really be said for Ico...

One of the best games I have played too

The first time you play this game, it is literally jaw dropping. The pure size and awesomeness of the colossus is unrivaled in most games.

I never finished Colossus, got stuck on the turtle-looking thing and had too many other games to finish. Then I got a PS3. I'll go back someday.

ICO I finished many times because I was in QA at the time. I lent my unopened game to someone but I don't know who. It's in my collection I guess, if I ever find out who has it.

Anyway, both awesome games. Can't wait for any upcoming HD games from them.
