I took a bunch of pictures of San Francisco from Treasure Island the other day. It was a little hazy out but once the sun went down the lighting turned out pretty cool.

I stitched four of them together in PS and blended the layers to make this one. This is my first time stitching in PS, and I think it turned out pretty well. I think I'm going to print it and have it framed and hung in my office.

Has anybody printed panoramics online? Where's the best place for printing panoramics? The resolution on the full version is ~11000x2400 so I'm thinking I can print something like 72x16" :noes:

    C&C appreciated

pretty nice. too bad you can't see the color of the bridge. It does seem a bit on the cool side though :dunno:

I've been going back and forth on my post processing. I adjusted the levels and it made it a little brighter and bluer. The original as shot was darker and more orange/red.

    aaahhh...

Gotcha. I did it myself using a printer that accepted roll paper. Not too sure about the whole online ordering thing...

It looks like that most of the time. This is a shot I took the day before. Crazy how fast the weather changes here.

I have a panoramic pic of Seattle I took. It's 12x72. There's a place locally that will print a 12x36 for about $20. I'm going to split the picture up into two, then put them in 12x36 frames which are also about $25 each and just put them next to each other. That's going to be the most cost efficient way to do it I think :hs:

I like the PP, makes it look very vintage.

Nope, not in the coast guard.

I'm going into boot camp for the coast guard on the 9th. I have California as a guaranteed district and Station Golden Gate is my #2 pick... right after Lake Tahoe .

I'd like it more if the horizon wasn't in the exact center of the frame....
