setting up surround sound

    If your going to set up surround sound and your computer is in the corner of the room, facing the opposite corner, where would you put the rear speakers.

    Im reluctent to putting them in the middle of a bare wall, but thats where they would line up.

    unless the room is only a few feet deep, then those rears are way too far back.

    well i cant really put them in the middle of my room...

    hmm, i wonder if I could hang them from the ceiling...

    thats actually how I have mine, pretty big room though so there's not much else I can do. It sounds decent.

    but would it be logical to mount speakers to the ceiling?

    yes, you can buy wall and ceiling mounts at any HT shop.

    edit : I guess you changed your post? New answer:

    Yes, but only if you can run the wire through the walls-ceiling... otherwise it'd look bad.

    ill have to run wires across my walls cus i have no idea how to get em through the walls :hs:

    anyway, no matter how bad the wires look, ill still end up will surround sound :)
