What do I have to do in order to make it show up as blog.domain.com instead of domain.com/blog ?:hsd:

I hope you're using cpanel. In your case, it would be a godsend. :hsughr:

Setup WordPress regularly through Fantastico and install it to the directory "blog". Once it's installed, go to your "subdomains" tab in cPanel, create a "blog" subdomain. Once that is finished, navigate to domain.com/blog/wp-admin, enter your username and password, then go to "settings". Change the "WordPress address" and "Blog address" fields to blog.domain.com.

you can probably doing it just by using your site's subdomain tools (if you have them) and maybe .htaccess
