So I bought a home a few months ago which has built-in speakers. (4 sets, 8 speakers total). I am about to buy a receiver so I can actually take advantage of the setup, but still need suggestions. I had a home audio guy (who installed a plasma tv in the other room) quote me the following

    1. Denon dual zone receiver - 1706 = $367.00
    2. Speaker selector box = $107.00
    3. 5 disc CD player = $144.00
    4. Installation and parts = $157.00
I was thinking it would just be easier/cheaper to do myself and was wondering if I should go with this setup. This is what it would be plugging into [IMG]

I have 1 set of speakers in my bonus room, then 3 sets elsewhere throughout the house. I already have volume control knobs in various rooms, but would probably need some type of RF universal remote to bring it all together. Any help is appreciated...thanks.
