since ive been taking a break from muay thai, im getting restless when i want to punch and kick and have nothing to do it on. i have thai pads but my puss of a roommate doesnt like holding the pads for me. so im thinking about setting up a pole bag (since i have nowhere to hang one) outside... im wondering if anyone else has any experience with this... my main concern is the environment, im thinking about creating some sort of protective covering for it so that the rain and moisture doesnt ruin or rot it... i do live is SF and it can be pretty moist out here.

    any thoughts? :hs:

you say you have a room mate, are you a college student? If not, then why not set up the bag in your basement?

oh, then yeah why not get the bag, I am sure it will be a pretty good investment. Would you be concerned about other people coming by and messing with your bag since its going to be outside?

yeah i am concerned about that since my backyard is shared with other college kids and families, thats why i was thinking about making a plywood over or something for it, so that i can lock it up.

Nice bag. I just got a house a few months ago. Still haven't set up mine in the garage cause I have a chevelle and jeep sittin in it currently.

I second the tarp idea if its going to be outside. Cover it good.
