Setting memory in Tiger...

    I just checked my resources and Firefox is using < 100mb of REAL memory. 100mb for a browser, wtf?

    I've got a gig of memory and with FF running, it leaves me will all of 80mb free. No wonder my shit is so slow.

    where can you check and see how much memory a specific program is using?

    activity monitor under utilities.

    or use the unix command top in terminal
