Maybe one of you web gurus can help me out...

I have an out of the box support application written in ASP running on an IIS server. Im trying to index / crawl through it using a google appliance. I can get past the authentication the application requires by sniffing out a current ASPSESSIONID and setting it as a cookie in the HTTP headers.

My question...how do I set a permanent session id that the server will always accept? Is this done somewhere in the IIS configuration?

    TIA...
