Is it really worth it? I'm thinking about buying new digital camera with service plan from Bestbuy or CircuitCity. Which one is better for service plan? :dunno:

check your credit card benefits agreement if you can
extended manufacturer's warranty (double) is typically included
extended service plan is heavily discounted as well
    90-180 day theft protection
price match guarantee over a 30 or 60 day period is common

The only one that I think is worth buying is if you go to Ritz and get their plan. Since theirs covers you completely from damage, even if its your fault, it is the most comprehensive out there and worth it, even though its not cheap.

However, if you drop it, or even throw it against the wall and destroy it, Ritz will give you a new one or a gift card of the money equivalent to what you spent.

Yeah, Ritz offers an ESP plan. It covers beyond what the manufacturer's warranty does. Even if it is caused by the user.
