im looking for a freeware program that would be able to do inventory of the servers i have in my rack, and MOST important, show me the power output of them.

basically, we just racked three new servers, and 2 new NAS, and the ups is pretty much overloaded. we plan on getting an addition, but we need to wait for another outlet to be installed. i want to find out how much power is actually being put out by each machine so i can see if we just need one more, or maybe two more.

just wondering if there are any freeware programs that would be able to do this

There is NO software to do this. You need to get yourself a AMP meter that plugs in between the server and the power switch...

Better yet, re-wire your power so your using all 3-phase power strips that are manageable and will tell you exactly how many amps are being pulled.
