    bah it was alright.
the plot was great with twists and turns, but the characters were "empty" - for lack of a better word. and the animation wasn't incredible either :sad2:

i just finished watching it tonight. it was weird and confusing in the beginning... then things started to make more sense and i liked it more towards the later episodes. i dunno really what it would fall under tho, this is quite diff. from all other animes i've seen.

finished the serie about 1/2 year ago, and it is still confusing to me somehow...but I still think it is a must-see if you like psychological stuff.

I thought it was okay. I thought it was very shallow. Like it tried to sound deep and philosophical, but instead came across as pseudo-intellectual. A few cool ideas, but didn't elaborate on it.

    Also, it's slow!

Didn't make me think. NGE, however, did.

 Lain is the best evar! You gotta watch it 2-3 times to catch everything.. I liked it more after I watched it a second time..

You can over analyze the series, but theres a lot of stuff to pick apart at the same time..
