First and foremost, I just put up www.abgx360download.com - and am already getting fairly decent google traffic without having advertised it anywhere.

As you can see, the page itself is garbage, but is fully functional. Should I bother porting it over to wordpress, or would that be a waste of time?

I don't want to move to WP, then have my current google standings get pwned because of it. Currently am 4th for "abgx360 download" which is fine by me, but would of course like to be #1. As-is, I imagine people would prefer to not have to use a torrent client to download the program, so I'm not too worried about those sites above me.

Also, how should I go about monetizing? I don't think google would like it if I stuck their ads on the site, since it is centered around playing backups of games.

Why do you think if you ported it over to wordpress that your google ranking will drop?

i like wordpress, but if you are happy with the ranking now and the site is working, why port it?

tweak the seo and figure a way to make you some money

Well the main reason, is it looks like shit. I copied and pasted someone's tutorial, hosted the files, and got the site running.

I just have had bad experience with editing keywords and shit like that causing my sites to drop off the face of google. Don't want that to happen again is all.

You don't have to transfer it to WP.

First - Place the CSS in external files, SEO the Image titles and such.

Check the keyword density. I like mine around 3-4%.

    Other than that... build links!

Actually be careful - Google might throw you under the bus pretty soon. No backlinks and only a few weeks old.

if you want to change it over, use the same keywords, should be fine, i don't check daily, but i see some of my sites move around on google, and i have not messed with the keywords, one day i will be ranked 3rd, i look in a few days, i will be 7th and then go back in a few days and i will be 5th

You need to get abgx360.net to LINK to you with whatever your keyword is.

Keyword Density. Have your Keyword show up 3-4% of all the total words on the site.

I intend on rewriting it. It was taken from a forum on TorrentLeech - not published so google can see.

Monetization wise. I wouldn't use content links or anything, if they are downloading this from you. I would require them to install Zango or whatever the hell it is called first. (like a lot of those shit video sites do)

How many uniques are you getting?

Not a lot -yet- but it's pretty steady.

For Zango, do they just have to click the link, then the real download link shows up? or do I have to bind the files or some gay shit like that?

I'd remove those tabbed links on top that have no relation to the site at all.

As far as monetization goes, you could start with the obvious...the various free xbox 360 email/zip submits though they don't pay all that well. Unless you can find monetized versions and require them to do an offer to get the junk.

Another could be the many different xbox 360 type products over at clickbank. Things like "fixing RRoD" and such. Reports/ebooks that can make a decent commission.

Maybe link (affiliate links of course) to buy.com/amazon/ebay/newegg and such for harddrives that are good options for upgrades. Since they will be downloading a bunch of games they need the space so suggest the "best" harddrives out there and get commissions. Not sure if you have one already or not but if not write up (copy lol) an harddrive upgrade post/page and plaster it will those same affiliate links.

I had them removed at first, but figure a little traffic kicked to them might be good.
