How short can I have the barrel cut? I will have a 1.5 break permanently attached. I thought the shortest you could have a shotgun without extra paper work was 18'.

As I understand it, that's correct for MO. 18" is the limit.

1.5" perm. brake would let you have a 16.5" barrel.

I didn't think that the muzzle brake counts when determining the legal barrel length.

Of course the US govt doesn't always use logic or reason when coming up with these gun laws.

If it's permanently attached it does, at least for rifles. I've never read, seen, or even heard of anything to the contrary for shotguns.

PS, where are you sending it and how much are you paying? My guy might be able to help you out since you're shipping it anyway.

I have the worst memory ever.

I know we talked about it and I gave you his info but I didn't know if you confirmed you were going to go with him. :o

Did you tell him I sent you? :coold:

Once I get a few things squared away (debt & classes) I'm gonna have him put HK sights on mine and probably tromix hg, and a few other things.

I entrusted him with the gun to do a conversion and a coat. This is the 4th gun he's coated for me so he knows what I like.

He parkerized then duracoated it, did the conversion, colorfilled the S & F, added a detent at the safety mark.

the saiga pics on the site are mine :o

I'd guess you're talking about the holes created from removing the original stock.. I'll be using an ace block that will be drilled and tapped to match the 4 holes left behind and then will be using some screws on those.. Better than the one bolt holding the block on.

You could also use nylon plugs on any existing holes like many people do.
