send file from computer to computer

    In my house the computer upstairs is the main computer and mine is routed off it with that blue internet cable. Now how would i go about sending music thats on my computer to the main computer? I really need to know because I need to transfer alot of music to put on my ipod. Serious answers please.

    Don't mind the two asshats that posted after you. For some reason, C&P attracts a lot of fucking retards. It's getting lame lately.

    Anyway, you will have to setup shares. If you're using Windows, it's easy to do. Just right click on the folder you want shared and share it. Make sure to setup permissions so you can actually grab the file, or transfer if needed. Once that is done, you should be able to access the share via network neighborhood, or typing the IP address of the node in your location bar.
