For those of you who don't know its a 1987 Jetta GLi 8v. It has 181,000 miles. It is red with black interior.

    The good:
-Over $1200 in receipts over the last year including: new Sumitomo HTR-200 tires, ignition switch, headlight switch, fuel pump/filter, shift bushings, water pump, timing belt, belt tensioner, spark plugs, plug wires, dizzy cap, valve stem seals, valve cover, radiator, rad support, hoses etc.
-TT268 cam installed, lowered on Jamex sport springs
    -Good gas mileage (~25-30 MPG)
-Runs good, always starts on first try.
-Interior is very nice, only one or two small tears in driver's seat.
-LOADS of extra parts including: Neuspeed strut tower bar, extra set of front fenders (need painted), intake manifold, throttle body, stock springs, oil cooler, roof rack, and the list goes on.

    The bad:
    -High mileage
    -Burns some oil
    -Dented front passenger fender
-Quarter sized ding in upper rear passenger door.
    -Paint is somewhat faded.
-Hood is spraypainted red, color does not match rest of the car
-Rear passenger door handle needs replaced
-No radio (I will be taking my CD player out when the car sells)

What do you all think would be a fair asking price? I really cant afford to sell it for ANY less than $1000. I think that $1200 is very reasonable but what do you all think? I just want some opinions and if anyone is interested please let me know. My email is [email protected]

Part it out as much as possible, then sell the car itself at blue book.
