tell him to get fucked. :o he wants to use his shipping account so he can change the destination from the confirmed address in the stolen paypal account to somewhere else after the item is in transit. then the person who owns the paypal account reverses the charges on their credit card and you have no camera or money.

edit - if you really want to be a dick, accept his proposal and once you have the money ship him a box of bricks overnighted for the most expensive shipping cost you can rack up at fedex. then just leave the stolen money in your paypal account so you can give it back when the charges get reversed. :mamoru:

I've asked sellers to use my UPS account to my work address. Sellers accep and ship out the package. I never would've thought that people are getting scammed this way.

Make him send you photos doing specific things to verify his identity and authenticity (i.e. him being a certified idiot!).

I really like the idea of shipping him bricks, you know it IS a heavy camera....

Or just take a photo of the camera and tape it to one of the bricks and ship him that. :x:
