I have a 2006 Porsche 911 4S and have been trying to sell it lately. I originally put it on ebay; and although, it did not sell for my reserve price, I did gain the interest of a prospective buyer. My only reservation is that the person that has expressed interest in the car lives in Germany. They are willing to pay transport fees and my list price for the car, but it just sounds slightly suspect to me...

What are your thoughts? Would you have any problem do a transaction of this nature?

Might as well give it to me for free, you'll probably lose less money that way :big grin:

I can't tell who's the scammer, the buyer or the seller. Who owns a Porsche but has to ask on a forum how to sell it?

Exactly, he could probably buy 2 or 3 there for the price of one from the US.

not too smart, are you? Not only are they cheaper here to start off with, you must take the currency exchange into account.

Probably a scammer, but here's what my father did when selling his vintage Ducati motorcycle. He sold it on ebay and the buyer was in Australia. His terms were that the bike must be picked up. He told the seller to send payment, which he did, and make arrangements with a shipper. Its been three months and the bike is still in my fathers garage.
