got a few questions, do gun shops buy used rifles/guns. looking at selling my ar to finance other things. also is there a good guns blue book website were i could look up values and that sort of thing. also pawnshops, do you ever get what they are worth. looking to get rid of it fast but don't want to take a huge loss.

    thanks

don't sell it at a shop or especially a pawn shop. put it up on ar15.com and see if you can sell it there.

Gun store will rape you and offer $400ish if your lucky. Like said above post it over on ar15.com.

You'd do considerably better here than a gun/pawn shop.

Pawn shops seem to live by the "buy low, sell high" rule more than any other business so unless you need money fast and are willing to take cents on the dollar for it, selling it elsewhere will recover more of the original price.

Post some pics here and you might get rid of it within 24 hours...

if it's just a standard A2 20" you could probably sell it pretty quickly on ar15.com for $700.

Some shops will sell it on consignment for you. My FFL charges 10% of the final cost. Some shops charge 15%.

    $650-700 sounds good to me.
