Anybody know if I am selling a handgun to Florida from Texas if it has to go to a FFL first or can it go straight to the buyer? Is there a site out there that talks about this that I can't find?

    Any help is appreciated.

if it's going out of state, it has to go to an FFL in the state the buyer resides in.

So, since you are in texas, you'll need to ship it to a florida FFL in order for the buyer to get it transferred to them.

anything outside your state ALWAYS must go to an FFL

Any gun you sell to someone unless its FTF has to go to a FFL.
