Let's make a list of books you have read that were GOOD and not lame or hokey.

Give the name of the book, the author if you know it, and a brief description of the book and how it helped you. And I guess if you've read any that sucked, list those, too, but be sure to mention that they sucked, and tell why they sucked.

All of these will be links to the book on Amazon

The Richest Man in Babylon - Awesome book on personal finance.

Awaken the Giant Within - Awesome for getting motivated and taking action in your life.

Dance of a Fallen Monk - Amazing book about following your ideas and your heart. One of my all time favorite books.

First You Have to Row a Little Boat - Awesome book on life told through sailing analogies.

A Path With A Heart - A beautiful book on spirituality.

It's Not About The Bike - Lance Armstrongs amazing story of triumph over cancer. IMO it's truly a miracle that he even survived. Until I read this book I had no idea how close he had come to dying. Then to come back and with The Tour de France 7 times in a row.....there just aren't words to describe.

Anyways, that's my list of some of the books that I have loved throughout the years. I hope everyone who reads this thread will post their favorites.

Rich as in material wealth or rich is spirit??

Becomming 100% debt free at 35 including my house, car and motorcycle is a huge accomplishment in my book. I don't know many other people in life that ever accomplish that, let alone doing it by 35. There are plenty of people that have more wealth than me but I don't care....it's not a contest.

I'm living a great life right now and it's because I stopped listening to people that didn't know what the fuck they were talking about and started listening to people that had actually done somethnig with their lives.

I'd say that's better than being rich, materially speaking :)

Not really a self help or improvement book or anything, but it gets you thinking.

That book has really sparked soo much in my life it isn't just amazing to me. A book so small and easy to read can be soo powerful. If you can apply those ideas to your life, you will start to have more wealth in your life.
