Gotta stay ahead of Pirate Bay, after all.

They could at least make the patches download and install in the background, which every other software company on Earth has already managed to accomplish.

Right, because having to download and reinstall the entire iTunes AND Quicktime software every time is much better.

Itunes at least lets me know with a popup that there is an update available. I have just been cancelling it for the past few months since I got a Zune.

You can have a HIV-infested breeding ground. Whatever floats your boat.

I, on the otherhand, run a clean ship.

I'm kinda tempted to say they should implement background updates just to spite Jolly, but I'm not that much of an asshole.

I will say, however, that he's probably the only person here who actually objects to something as mundane as a background updater.
